Coaching helps individuals gain awareness of limiting beliefs and behaviours that prevent them from achieving their goals. It's an opportunity to explore these in a safe, judgement-free, confidential environment where there’s space to think out loud, reflect, and gain clarity on the issues they're facing. With the help of the coach they then identify specific actions they need to take to bring about growth, possibility, and lasting change.
Coaching brings about shift, momentum, growth, and self-esteem as a result of taking aligned, meaningful action that gets results: it’s a journey, a commitment, an experiment in discovering who you truly are, what works for you and where your true purpose lies. It's an undoing of old behaviours and a stripping away of narratives that no longer serve you.
Coaching provides the opportunity to discover what feels good; what makes you feel alive, purposeful, and in alignment with what truly matters to you - regardless of the expectations of others.
All of this takes place within a container of self-compassion, self-acceptance, ease, and possibility.
Once a clear goal is identified we work together to design actions that will bring it about. It’s very much about engaging in the process and being accountable but feeling held and supported in such a way that enables you to take risks, explore emotions, make mistakes, and celebrate successes. Because the goal will feel deeply meaningful and the actions will be clearly defined you will find the motivation and discipline required to follow through on them.
The goal may be something specific such as changing job or it may less tangible - for example an increase in confidence. The key is knowing what would be different for you by the end of the coaching process and then committing to working towards that over the course of 6-8 sessions.
